Good breakfast, great service. The place is clean. Enjoyed the buttermilk pancakes, fluffy and decadent, very crispy bacon and juicy breakfast sausage. We also tried their homemade biscuits and it was good as well. Will be back!!

We were in town and on the road to the airport for a last bite to eat with friends before flying out. We were looking for a place to have breakfast on the way and found Sunny's Diner We popped in and immediately were met by a smiling waitress who quickly got us settled with some hot coffee. We ordered biscuits and gravy and a Mexican omelette and all the food was wonderful. The portion size was bigger than we expected as well. If we find ourselves in the area again, we will be back!

Our fourth or fifth time here, decided on doing lunch for a change (usually breakfast) Food is always good to great, service is always great, today was a tad slow as Shelli was the only server (no complaints though) just tough to watch. Did do a take out of the buttermilk biscuits (can't wait) and of course a loaf of the killer cinnamon bread. Always clean and peaceful.

My daughter and I went to Sunny's Diner in Tualatin today. I ordered the homemade chorizo and it was fabulous...served over their homemade hashbrowns and gravy. my daughter ordered chicken fried steak with hashbrowns and gravy and scrambled eggs. She ate every bite of the chicken fried steak! There was lots of food. So I had leftovers of chorizo and hashbrowns to bring home. I just had the leftovers for dinner with tortillas. I don't often leave reviews on Yelp, but this chorizo needs recognition!......it is so delicious. I'm going back for more of that! The service was really good and it had a really good comfortable feel, of a diner that's clean and friendly.

Sunny's Diner is a gem! The staff is so welcoming and friendly, and portion sizes are gigantic. It's a breakfast and lunch place only, and their menu is breakfasts and sandwiches/burgers/salads and a few other items. They also make their own bread which is fresh and tasty. Also giant cinnamon rolls and biscuits to go! I tried the patty melt on my first visit and it's huge, and appropriately greasy. Not my fave patty melt but I am kinda picky. I've had their club sandwich and it was excellent, and I couldn't finish it either. Breakfast they do fast and well. French toast made from their cinnamon swirl bread (wish they had real maple syrup tho) was great. Bacon came crispy as ordered. Eggs done right. You really can't go wrong here! They kept our coffee cup filled without asking and checkout on their little device was fast and convenient. Two thumbs up!

Glad there's a new spot in Tualatin that serves classic diner breakfast. It has a bit of resemblance of the previous restaurant that used to be there (a sushi belt restaurant). Although it is a diner, it doesn't have much of a cozy feel because of the industrial design of the interior. I got the Corned Beef Hash Breakfast with Wheat Toast which came with hash browns. Most of my family got an omelet or pancakes. The corned beef hash and hash browns tasted fine. It lacked some depth in flavor so we did ask for some ketchup and hot sauce to eat with it. The standout for me was surprisingly the toast. I don't tend to eat the toast with my meal but I'm glad I had it this time. They make their bread in house and you can tell from the quality of the bread. Their toast slices were thick so you could really taste all the delicious baked goodness. I would probably come back to try more of their breads!
